About Deck
We're building the infrastructure
for Computer Use agents.
Deck gives software the ability to operate other software. The platform provisions isolated desktop VMs, manages credentials, and lets AI agents interact with any application the way a human would — at any scale.
Mission
Most of the world's software was built for humans. There is no unified layer for agents to log in, navigate, and take actions inside these systems. Deck is building that layer.
Deck makes it possible for any company to deploy AI agents that operate real desktops — browsing, clicking, typing, filling forms — across any application, without APIs, without integrations, without waiting.
Approach
Deck doesn't simulate browsers. It provisions full desktop environments — the same kind of machine a human sits in front of — and gives agents the tools to operate them.
Every session is isolated, auditable, and replayable. Credentials are stored in a vault with automatic rotation. Humans can approve sensitive actions before they execute. And when something goes wrong, you can kill any agent instantly.
This isn't browser automation bolted onto an LLM. It's Computer Use infrastructure, purpose-built for production.
Team
Deck was founded in Montreal by Yves-Gabriel Leboeuf and Fred Lavoie, who previously co-founded Flinks — a pioneering Canadian open banking platform that was acquired by National Bank of Canada. They bring deep experience in infrastructure, fintech, and regulated data systems. Deck is their next chapter: agents that don't need an API — they use the computer.
Backed by
Deck has raised $25M from investors who understand infrastructure and developer tools. The company is backed by Infinity Ventures, Better Tomorrow Ventures, Intact Ventures, Luge Capital, and Golden Ventures — alongside notable angels including Larry Fitzgerald (Pro Football Hall of Fame) and Rahul Mehta (Managing Partner, DST Global).
How Deck works
Ship, then iterate
Deck optimizes for learning speed. Small teams, short cycles, real users. Perfection is the enemy of feedback.
Trust by default
Deck handles credentials, sessions, and sensitive actions. Security isn't a feature — it's the foundation everything else is built on.
Infrastructure mindset
Deck builds primitives, not products. The goal is to give developers the building blocks to create things no one has imagined yet.
Stay close to the metal
The team cares about latency, VM boot times, session isolation, and compute efficiency. The details compound.

OpinionGenuine users aren't always human
Some of the most essential actors in software systems today aren't human at all. They're agents — credentialed, automated, and accountable.
